Wholehearted Counseling

Healing Is Possible. You Don’t Have To Do It Alone.

About Wholehearted Counseling

Wholehearted Counseling exists for people who are looking for something deeper than symptom management. We help people struggling with trauma, disconnection, addiction, anxiety, and the emotional constriction that comes from losing touch with yourself.

We’re not here to pathologize you. We listen to notice what hurts and what heals. We’ll help you understand how the past influences the present and how your body and nervous system have learned to respond based on the stress, pain, and environments you’ve had to navigate.

Our therapists are engaged and attentive. We help you feel safe, track what matters, and return to what is true for you. So that you can live a more resilient and enjoyable life.

What Makes Us Different

Therapy supported with tools, insights, and real-life integration.

Wholehearted Counseling is more than a clinic. It is an extension of Wholehearted.org and Wholehearted Community Services. We collaborate with leaders like Dr. Joan Borysenko, Dr. Gabor Maté, Dr. Jennifer Hays-Grudo, Dr. Amanda Sheffield Morris, Dr. BJ Davis, TJ Woodward, and Mark Lundholm to create some of the most trusted programs on trauma, recovery, reparenting, and personal healing.

Our therapists are trained in the approaches these experts teach. Many use them in their own lives. Every Wholehearted Counseling client receives access to the full Wholehearted Self-Help program library.

Drug and Alcohol Treatment

Drawing upon the philosophy of Dr. Gabor Maté, Roland Williams, MAC, Conscious Recovery, Brainspotting, & Trauma Informed Care

Substance use is not always the core problem. It’s what we’ve learned to reach for when we can’t feel safe, calm, connected, or alive. At Wholehearted Counseling, we work with both individuals and families navigating the complexities of addiction and recovery.

Two members of our team are certified drug and alcohol counselors with extensive experience in trauma-informed recovery work. We don’t view addiction as a moral failing. We work relationally and respectfully, supporting clients in understanding the deeper reasons behind their use and helping them move toward something more sustaining.

We also work with loved ones, helping them find clarity, set healthy boundaries, and stay grounded even when someone they care about is not ready to change.

Whether it’s your first time in therapy or you’ve been through treatment before, we’ve helped many clients with addictive behaviors from all walks of life.
