We’re looking for a seasoned marketing executive to lead the next chapter of Wholehearted.org.
Open Letter from AJ
Wholehearted.org has never had a marketing department. We’ve intentionally grown slowly, building high-quality, heartfelt video programs on healing trauma, addiction, recovery, parenting, and emotional resilience. We’ve built a beautiful body of work that has reached people and earned trust, but we’ve never had a larger strategy for sharing it.
That’s where you come in.
If marketing feels to you like an opportunity to offer clarity, connection, and service (not just clickbait) we’d love to hear from you.
With care, AJ Foxx Founder, Wholehearted.org
What We’re Looking For
Executive-level marketing experience, ideally in the digital education, wellness, or nonprofit space
A strong background in full-funnel strategy, brand development, email marketing, digital campaigns, and audience growth
Demonstrated success launching or scaling high-quality online courses or memberships
Familiarity with trauma, addiction, mental health, or related fields is a major plus
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage projects, teams, budgets, and outcomes
A strategic mind with a hands-on approach; you can lead with vision, and also implement
A deep sense of responsibility and personal alignment with our mission
You Should Have
Experience developing and running marketing strategies for a small or mission-driven organization in the mental health field.
Familiarity with digital campaigns, email marketing, content strategy, and building audience trust over time.
Knowledge of how to activate membership programs, mailing lists, and partnerships.
Clear communication, organization, and follow-through.
Comfort working with a creative team to produce and adapt marketing assets.
A good grasp of how messaging connects with real people, not just clickbait.

Leading and owning the full marketing function at Wholehearted: strategy, systems, results
Building our brand voice and clarifying messaging across all channels
Designing and launching campaigns for course enrollment, membership engagement, and new product visibility
Developing strategic partnerships and affiliate collaborations
Managing and eventually building a team across key marketing functions
Optimizing our email marketing, digital funnels, and traffic acquisition strategies
