SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER

We’re looking for someone with strong experience, sound judgment, and clear communication to grow and engage an audience with intention and integrity.

Open Letter from AJ

Dear Future Teammate,

We’re Wholehearted.org. We’re a small, collaborative team creating educational video programs on emotional healing, mental health, trauma, recovery, addiction, parenting, and personal growth. We work with respected experts and authors who trust us to represent their life’s work with care. Our content is heartfelt, evidence-based, and made to be genuinely helpful.

Our values are simple. We believe in honesty, personal responsibility, creative excellence, and usefulness. We create programs that we would want our own families and friends to have access to. And we take our time to do things as well as we can.

We’ve built a strong foundation. What we need now is help sharing it with the world. We’re looking for someone who understands social media not as a tool for attention, but as a bridge to connection. A talent for helping more people discover what we’ve made and feel supported by what they find.

This is not about influencing or content for content’s sake. It’s about creating something meaningful and helping it reach the people who need it. If that speaks to you, we’d love to hear from you.

With care,
AJ Foxx
Founder, Wholehearted.org

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone with strong experience, attention to detail, sound judgment, and clear communication. Knowledge and experience on how to grow and engage an audience with intention and integrity. You’re thoughtful, organized, and understand how to create and share content that aligns with a deeper mission.

What You'll Be Doing

You’ll be inheriting and managing a full pipeline of ready-to-share, high-quality content. We already have nearly 400 professionally edited, animated, and mastered video reels, complete with transcripts, call-to-action copy, and metadata.

Your initial responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing and learning our content library
  • Creating a strategic posting schedule across multiple platforms
  • Refining post copy, captions, tags, and metadata
  • Posting daily and managing each account’s flow
  • Monitoring and responding to comments with discernment and care
  • Reviewing performance data and making adjustments
  • Collaborating with our creative team to generate new or refined content based on audience feedback

This role is not about making videos on your phone. This is a professional management role. You’ll be coordinating with our editors, copywriters, designers, and leadership. You’ll be shaping our social presence into something that helps people, builds trust, and contributes to our mission.

The Right Fit

We’re looking for someone with serious experience. Not just a small local business social media coordinator, but someone who understands how to grow a legitimate brand on social media, ideally on a national or international scale.

We’re interested in applicants who have worked with:

  • Large well known brands or mission-driven content brands
  • Education, media, or nonprofit campaigns with wide reach
  • Social platforms as part of a larger brand-building or storytelling strategy

You’ll need to understand how to manage a content ecosystem. You should be thoughtful, strategic, organized, and capable of translating meaningful messages into public-facing moments that affect people positively.

You help us become more discoverable, a recognized public resource, and more trusted online. You elevate our presence so that people who are already looking for content like ours find it, engage with it, and share it.

We’re not after clickbait. We’re building a library of quality content that speaks to the core of the human experience. This is a legacy-minded project. Your job is to help it reach the right eyes, at the right time, in the right way.

Arrangement & Compensation Details

Currently, this is not a remote position.

The position can start part-time, full time, or as contract work; we’re flexible for the right person. This role starts at $20 to $30 per hour depending on experience, fit, and responsibilities.

We’re a self-funded passion project. We are not backed by investors. Every dollar we spend is intentional. We are committed to fair pay, mutual respect, and building something sustainable. Success in this role will lead to expanded freedom, flexibility, and additional compensation.

Our Socials

This is a social media role. Which reminds me… we should probably show you our social media.
Here ya go!
