    When I first heard Gabor speak about Trauma and ADHD it made so much sense! His work on trauma, addiction and ADHD is so important in the world.     This is very helpful and insightful information from Gabor Mate. My son was diagnosed with ASD (Autistic Spectrum Disorder) a few years back. It was suggested to me then, and again more recently that he may also have ADHD. It was also suggested to me a few years ago that he could be medicated for it. I was, and still am, totally against that idea. As this is coming up again, the information in this video is useful for me as I move forward in my conversations with professionals.

    I wish all teachers were able to understand this. My 13 year old suffered severe medical violation and trauma at the age of 4. He showed high levels of ADHD after. He’s never been able to sit still inside a classroom and when he asks for help the teachers are so frustrated with him they deny it or send him to the principal’s office. The school has asked me to medicate him but I refuse. This information is valuable in helping me help my child.
