For nearly three decades, Paul Holes investigated the darkest crimes imaginable from serial homicides, child abductions, to solving cold cases that haunted entire communities. He’s known around the world for catching the infamous Golden State Killer. But behind the cases is another story, one Paul has never fully told.

In this rare and personal special, Paul steps forward not as a crime expert, but as a human being; one shaped by the weight of violence, grief, and silence. He speaks openly about the invisible wounds carried by law enforcement officers, the cultural stigma that prevents them from seeking help, and his own struggles with alcohol, isolation, and emotional isolation.

At its core, Unmasked is a call to action. Paul challenges the systems that train officers to run toward danger but fail to give them the tools to process what they see when they get there. His message is urgent, heartfelt, and long overdue:

• The trauma doesn’t end when the case is solved.
• The silence around mental health is harming our officers.
•  A mentally healthy cop is a better cop; for themselves, their families, and their communities.
